Verve Vizslas Valentines Weekend Agility Update

Our first Vizsla, Stella (Dreamvizslas Stolen Ride), recently reminded me why she will always hold such a special place in my heart.

Stella has always been an extraordinary agility dog — huge stride, incredibly careful, and fast enough that for many years I was mostly just trying to keep up. Now that she’s getting a little older and beginning to slow slightly, something wonderful (for me) has happened… we finally feel perfectly in sync.

The February 14-16th weekend held at Good As Gold Training held by the Rocky Mountain Herding Club was all about partnership. Listening to each other, running with quiet confidence, and letting Stella do what she does best.

We missed the last Standard Q with a small refusal, but the joy of running together mattered far more. When Stella and I are connected, it feels effortless.

Two Standard legs and one Jumpers With Weaves leg remain toward her CKC Agility Masters Championship.
